Flachau has secured the World Cup races that were cancelled in Levi (FIN). The men's and ladies' night slalom will now take place on 20 and 21 December in snow space Flachau.

Flachau is not just a regular venue for World Cup races such as the FIS ladies' night slalom, but also the home of famous ski stars - the most famous being Hermann Maier.

In the 1990s he shot like a comet to the zenith of the skiing heavens and celebrated some fantastic skiing triumphs. In his home galaxy of Flachau the “Herminator“ not only found the best training conditions but also great World Cup events and excellent opportunities to celebrate his skiing triumphs appropriately (3-times world champion, double Olympic champion, 4-time overall World Cup winner).
